This late 14th century belt is based on a belt found in the MOL's Dress Accessories book, figure 23. Embossed with the initials "ihc", the abbreviation of the name of Jesus, this belt is perfect for the 14th century European re-enactor. It is 19mm wide, same as the extant example. The lengths range from 47 to 56 inches and belt comes undyed. Blanks can be spliced together for those who are moreÓ prosperous.
Pictured: Top belt is a sample that has been dyed and mounted with a buckle by Blackwood Jewelery. The bottom belt is product as it is sold: an undyed belt blank.
