The Zishagge or Lobster Tail Pot is the ubiquitous helmet of the latter 16th and 17th centuries, the style becoming popular in 16th century Eastern Europe (Poland) and seeing heavy use during the 30 Years War and English Civil War. This example features a solid 12 gauge skull with lighter side and back plates. The large Fleur de Lys detail in the cheek plates has been backed with perforated steel to allow for a possible conversion to a dual use helmet.
Sized to fit 21 inch head.
