We are back in the shop and will be processing the orders that came in while we were away as quickly as we can. Shield orders will be built this week and shipped out next week. If there are any problems with your order due to stock selling out while we were at war we will be contacting you individually.
We are leaving the book business.
This may come as a shock to many, but after 12 years selling books at SCA events, we have decided to close that part of our operation so we can concentrate on other things. The current economy and some hard facts have made this a decision that needed to be made.
We will be selling our stock off over the coming months, and intend to be book free (with the exception of our Osprey and Vitus selections) by the end of next year. If we have it, now is a great time to buy it!
We will miss the books a great deal, but are looking forward to the possibilities this offers.

We've been busy putting together the promised new products we've had in line for this year and getting some needed maintenance out of the way. Our new Demi-Gauntlet Kit is now on the site, our Mandrake Armory Brig Gorget Kit now comes with 6061 T-6 Aircraft Aluminum plates instead of the bulky plastic ones, and we have our new Banner Pole/ Shield Stand Combination for your heraldic display. Our new Aluminum Shield Basket weighs less than half as much as our old wire versions, and offers as much protection.
We are also working on some new hilts and pommels and a new method for attaching them to your weapon.
We will also be introducing a new line of helmets for our popular Made To Order Program. The MTO Signature Series will allow people to order some of our more sporty and stylish helmets with guaranteed delivery and some new options. More information will be forthcoming as we iron out the details.
Our event calendar for this year will include all the usual suspects: Estrella War, Gulf Wars, Potrero War, Lilies, Pennsic, and Great Western War. We hope to see you out there.
