We are back in the shop and now have all of the orders that came in while we were away packaged and on their way to our customers. Thank you for your patience as we worked through our back-log.
PENNSIC IS COMING! Our shop will be closed during Pennsic. All of our crew members will be joining us as we traverse the country to make war on our eastern cousins. We will be leaving July 23rd and will be back in the shop around August 14th. Since this is a major event, most of our product lines will be going to the event, so there will be very limited shipping done while we are away.
We have revamped our Custom Shield offerings!
In the interest of offering our customers the best possible value for their SCA fighting shields, we have changed to a slightly thicker metal for our standard shields in 6061 T6, and have introduced a premium line of aluminum shields constructed of the much stronger 7075 T6 alloy. While this has meant in increase in our prices, it also means that the quality and durability of the shields we sell has increased as well. The shields we had on stock for our event inventory are on clearance for a very nice price.
A couple great new things have just hit the shelves:
We are proud to present the next chapter in the ongoing musings of Sir Vitus, The Furious Wheel is in stock and ready to ship.
1381: The Peel Affinity is finally in print! This book features full colour photographs of re-enactors of the 14th Century, with some amazing photographic renditions of period illustrations that everyone will recognize. A real must have for anyone interested in portraying this era.
Ten years in the making, the Ansbacher Workshop has finished its reproduction set of playing cards based on a deck from 1535. Hans Schaufelein's Game of Cards is a delightful addition to your late medieval gaming possibilities.
We have changed our policy for ordering MTO Products! From now on, the order may be placed with a credit card number, but no charge will be made until the helmet or shield is ready to ship unless we are specifically instructed by you to do otherwise.
Don't see a style of helmet you like? For high quality, artistically styled helmets, check out our friend Richard from Knotwolf Armory.
